About Rio Secco Golf Club
Rio Secco Golf Club was designed and built in 1997 by golf course architect Rees Jones.
When Rio Secco opened in 1997 Golf Digest and Golf Magazine voted it among the top ten new courses. In 2003/2004 Golf Digest - "America's 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses." Voted the # 1 public access course in Nevada by the Las Vegas PGA membership poll along with many other awards.
Rio Secco lays at the foothills of the Black Mountain Range 13.5 miles southeast of the Las Vegas Strip.
Rio Secco can play to over 7,400 yards and very difficult, but also offers four teeing grounds to allow golfers of any skill level a memorable golf experience.
Rio Secco features 6 holes through steep canyons, 6 holes on a plateau overlooking the city and 6 holes in a broad desert wash. Tiger Woods currently holds the course record of 64.
Set among the rolling foothills of the Black Mountain Range in Las Vegas, the new Rio Secco Golf Club provides a world-class golf experience unlike any other. The 18-hole, championship course is designed primarily for the guests of the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino and is located just 12 minutes south of the award-winning resort.
